Welcome to Strathmore Preschool, Bullpuppies Families!

We’re so excited to welcome you to Strathmore Preschool—home of the Bullpuppies! As a State-funded preschool program serving up to 42 children within the Strathmore Union Elementary School District, we’re thrilled to have your family join our learning community.

At Strathmore Preschool, your child will grow through daily activities that develop essential skills in reading, writing, math, critical thinking, and social-emotional development. Regular attendance helps make the most of each day, so we encourage you to bring your child to school every day, ready to learn and explore!

Our preschool program is designed to prepare children for a successful start in school, and we also offer support for parents through classes, workshops, meetings, and access to helpful community resources.

We believe communication and connection are essential. You're always welcome to visit our campus—just stop by the preschool office to check in. Together with our dedicated staff, involved families, and supportive district, we’re building the best foundation for your child’s educational journey.

Here’s a quick introduction to our amazing preschool team:

Sara Diaz, our lead teacher, brings 22 years of experience in Early Childhood Education.
Our wonderful instructional aides—Kathy Betancourt, Kate Garcia, Magali Ordez, and Abigail Garcia—help support learning in the classroom every day.
Amalia Montez, our friendly preschool secretary, is here to help with questions and daily needs.
Jacqueline Pennell, our Preschool Director, is committed to ensuring your family has a great experience.

Every member of our team is here to support you and your child during this exciting first year of school. We believe families are children’s first teachers, and we are proud to partner with you in your child’s growth and success.
